When: Saturday, April 6
Where: CPP BSC
On behalf of the College of Engineering, we would like to give you the opportunity to volunteer and contribute to the future of engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. This year's Women in Engineering Reception will be on Saturday, April 6th, from 12:00-2:00pm. We are seeking volunteers to help make this event a great one.
The goal of this event is to bring more women to Cal Poly Pomona Engineering programs. As women in engineering, we are extremely underrepresented on this campus and need to band together to change that. We are seeking volunteers from CPP WE and SWE to represent Cal Poly Pomona's Female Engineering students. We need to show them all the opportunities available here and inspire them to stick with their goals. The event will consist of set up, a free lunch to mingle with guests, a question and answer panel, an activity for prospective students, and clean up. Volunteers will aid in administering the lunch and the activity while providing insight about Cal Poly to the prospective students.
If you would like to help out please contact Breanna Haigler at brehaig1994@gmail.com by Monday April 1st. Thank you for your time, and I hope you can contribute.
